What will Lowndes County and the Cities of Valdosta, Hahira, Lake Park, Dasher, and Remerton look like in the year 2030?

The Greater Lowndes 2030 Comprehensive Plan is a road map for ensuring growth and development in the Greater Lowndes Communities occurs in a way as to maintain our quality of life and unique community character.

After a lengthy planning process, we are excited to announce the completion of the Greater Lowndes 2030 Comprehensive Plan.  The main portion of the Plan includes the Community Agenda.

Thank you to all those who participated in the planning process.  We look forward to continued collaboration and stakeholder involvement as our community grows and develops.
