OUR
PURPOSE
The
purpose of the Greater Lowndes Growth Advisory Committee (GLGAC)
is to ensure continuous and proactive communication and
interaction amongst all major community institutions and
stakeholder groups. The GLGAC holds regular meetings to
discuss growth strategies and innovations in the Greater Lowndes
Community. This collaboration ensures successful
implementation of the Greater Lowndes 2030 Comprehensive Plan
Goals, Policies, and Objectives as well as implementation of the
Short Term Work Program. The Committee also formulates
recommendations for revisions and amendments to the
Comprehensive Plan for consideration by various governing
bodies. Overall, the Committee promotes a forum for
coordinating future growth and development in order to ensure a
high quality of life and efficient use of existing and planned
services.
